According to the Office for the Liturgical Celebrations of the Supreme Pontiff, the month will open with a special outdoor Mass in St. Peter’s Square on Sunday, June 1, to mark the Jubilee of Families, Children, Grandparents, and the Elderly. The Mass is scheduled for 10:30 AM.

The Holy Father will return to the square on Pentecost Sunday, June 8, to celebrate Mass at 10:30 AM for the Jubilee of Ecclesial Movements, Associations and New Communities, according to Vatican News.

The following day, Monday, June 9, Pope Leo XIV is scheduled to preside at Mass for the Memorial of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of the Church at 11:30 AM in St. Peter’s Basilica. This celebration coincides with the Jubilee of the Holy See.

On Friday, June 13, the Pope will hold an Ordinary Public Consistory of Cardinals at 9:00 AM to vote on “several Causes of Canonization,” according to Vatican News reporter Devin Watkins.

June’s liturgical schedule also includes a Mass for the Jubilee of Sport on Sunday, June 15, again in St. Peter’s Square at 10:30 AM.

For the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ (Corpus Christi) on Sunday, June 22, Pope Leo will celebrate Mass at 5:00 PM in the Basilica of St. John Lateran. He is also expected to lead the traditional Eucharistic procession to the Basilica of St. Mary Major.
