The future of the Church begins with a child.
That belief is at the center of a new campaign from Your Catholic Voice Foundation, which is seeking 1,000 Monthly Mission Partners to help expand Catholic education and formation for children and families around the world.
The campaign comes at a moment when children are being shaped every day by social media, smartphones, algorithms, artificial intelligence, entertainment, and a culture competing constantly for their attention.
The question facing Catholic families is becoming increasingly urgent:
If the world is forming our children every day, who is forming them in the Faith?
Your Catholic Voice Foundation believes the Church must meet this generation where it already lives, learns, searches, watches, and asks questions.
Through Catholic Online, Catholic Online School, Catholic Learning Resources, Scripture, the Saints, prayer, and a growing digital Catholic mission, YCVF is working to make faithful Catholic formation accessible to children and families wherever technology can reach them.
But that mission requires sustained support.
That is why the Foundation is asking 1,000 Catholics to become Monthly Mission Partners and stand behind the work month after month.
Monthly support helps make possible the creation of Catholic lessons, Scripture resources, educational media, faith formation materials, parent and teacher resources, and new ways for children to encounter Jesus Christ.
The campaign is built around a simple conviction:
“IF WE LOSE THE FORMATION OF THE CHILD, WE LOSE THE FUTURE OF THE CHURCH.”
For YCVF, this is not simply another fundraising effort.
It is a call to Catholics who believe that handing on the Faith to the next generation is one of the most important responsibilities of our time.
A Monthly Mission Partner may never personally meet the child his or her gift reaches.
They may never know that child’s name.
But because someone cared enough to make Catholic formation available, that child may come to know His.
That is the heart of the campaign.
EDUCATE THE CHILD. REBUILD THE CHURCH.
YCVF’s immediate goal is to build a community of 1,000 Monthly Mission Partners who will help provide the stability needed to continue and expand Catholic formation throughout the year.
The amount is less important than the commitment.
A monthly gift of $10, $25, $50, $100, or more becomes part of a larger effort to reach the next child, strengthen the next family, and form the next generation.
The world is not waiting to influence our children.
The Church cannot wait either.
