The Stock Market’s Up! (Translation: The Rich Just Robbed You Again, Sucker)

Wall Street

Wall Street

Every time you turn on the news, you hear it:

“The stock market is up today!”
“Wall Street is rebounding!”
“A recession is looming!”

And every time, the media acts like you should care—like this is your economy. Like it’s your money on the line.

But here’s the blunt truth:
The stock market is not about you. It never was.

It’s a rigged game for the ultra-rich, and you—along with most Americans—are just a spectator in their casino.

Let’s break this down. Here’s who really owns the stock market:

  • Top 0.01% of the wealthy own 23.6% of ALL stock.
  • Top 1% own 50% of ALL stock.
  • Top 10% own a jaw-dropping 87.2% of ALL stock.
  • Next 40% (well-off middle class) own only 11.7%.
  • Bottom 50% of AmericansHALF the country—own just 1% of the stock market.

That’s not a market. That’s a monarchy.

So when CNBC flashes green arrows and billionaires grin ear to ear, understand something:

They’re not talking about YOU. They’re talking about THEM.

Who’s Getting Rich? Spoiler: Not You.

Every time the stock market goes up:

  • Billionaires like Warren Buffett and Bill Gates add another billion to their net worth.
  • Hedge funds, CEOs, and corporate executives cash out with record-breaking bonuses.
  • Politicians’ portfolios magically outperform the market. Wonder how?

Meanwhile:

  • You’re living paycheck to paycheck.
  • Your rent, food, insurance, and gas keep rising.
  • Your 401(k) (if you even have one) is a rounding error in their empire.

Wall Street Is Just a Mirage

The media wants you glued to their fantasy:

  • As if stock tickers mean something to your kids’ future.
  • As if a market “correction” is more important than the eviction notices, medical bills, and credit card debt piling up across America.

They scream “Recession!” to scare you.
They scream “Recovery!” to calm investors.

But here’s what they never say:

The stock market is not the economy.
It’s a distraction. A smoke screen. A con job.

They Own the Stocks. They Make the Rules.

Let’s be clear:

  • The ultra-wealthy don’t just own the stock market—they manipulate it.
  • They dump, short, pump, and buy back shares at will.
  • They write the tax code to benefit their capital gains while you’re taxed on every dollar you sweat for.

This isn’t capitalism. This is financial feudalism.

They live in mansions on the coasts, in the Hamptons, in Palm Beach, in gated fortresses you’ll never see.
You? You get breadcrumbs and fear.

The Media’s Role: Propaganda by the Rich, for the Rich

When the market crashes, the media panics.
When it rises, they throw confetti.
But here’s the truth they’ll never air:

The average American is not in the market in any meaningful way.
The market is in the hands of a wealthy elite, and it’s designed to keep them on top.

So why do they keep shoving it down your throat?

Because if you believe your freedom and prosperity are tied to Wall Street, you’ll never question the system. You’ll keep working, spending, obeying, and voting the way they want you to.

It’s Time to Wake Up

Don’t let the elite use fear and financial jargon to control you.
Don’t let them convince you that when they win, you win.
You’re not holding stock. You’re holding the bag.

This isn’t just inequality.
It’s economic tyranny in a tailored suit, with a Wall Street address, and a media echo chamber to make you think it’s normal.

The next time they cheer for the Dow Jones, ask yourself—what the hell does that have to do with me?

  1. Thanks for putting it like it is and with some facts… like the everyday citizens only makeup 1% of the Stock Market. Fearmongering again, every day a new stressor, stock market up, oops it’s down, oops it’s up, oops it’s down, enough! Don’t sell, ride it out. Sell, buy, that is what the top 1% does to add billions onto their portfolio. Relax, don’t sell and you won’t be affected! It’s all a big GAME!

Thank you President Trump for helping the citizens of our USA and actually doing what you said you would do, MAGA.

This Holy Week I am going to reflect on how Jesus suffered for all of us… Blessings to all of you this Lenten Season.
