The Miracle in Charlie Kirk’s Last Moments

In the wake of Charlie Kirk’s tragic assassination on September 10, new testimony suggests that even in death, his body may have spared others from harm. According to Turning Point USA spokesman Andrew Kolvet, the surgeon who treated Kirk told him that the bullet which struck his neck never exited—a rarity for a high-velocity round of that caliber, according to Daily Mail.

Kolvet quoted the surgeon as saying: “I apologize this is somewhat graphic, but in this case, the fact that there wasn’t an exit wound is probably another miracle, and I want people to know.” The surgeon further admitted he was flabbergasted: “I’ve seen wounds from this caliber many times and they always just go through everything. This would have taken a moose or two.”

What astonished the surgical team was Kirk’s own body acting as a barrier. “His bone was so healthy and the density was so so impressive that he’s like the man of steel. It should have just gone through and through. It likely would have killed those standing behind him too,” the surgeon reportedly said, according to Daily Mail. Kolvet also shared that the coroner located the bullet just beneath the skin.

“Even in death, Charlie managed to save the lives of those around him. Remarkable. Miraculous.”

On September 21, 2025, a large public memorial was held at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, drawing tens of thousands in person and millions more via livestream, according to ABC News.

Among the many striking moments was Erika Kirk’s public forgiveness of the man accused of killing her husband. As reported by ABC News, she said, “That young man, I forgive him,” adding that “the answer to hate is not hate.”
