There comes a point when the truth must be shouted, not whispered. The United States House of Representatives – the so-called “People’s House” – has become a bloated, impotent, morally bankrupt institution that has betrayed the American people at every turn. Both parties, Democrat and Republican alike, are complicit in the greatest theft of national prosperity in modern history. They posture. They preen. They hold endless hearings and churn out empty press releases. But when it comes time to actually do something – to defend the Constitution, to cut off the lifeblood of corruption, to stand up for law-abiding Americans – they fold. Every single time.
Let’s start with the obvious: The House of Representatives has the Power of the Purse. That means they control the nation’s checkbook. Every penny that flows out of Washington is their responsibility. Not the President’s. Not the Supreme Court’s. Theirs. If there is reckless spending, it’s because they signed off on it. If there are sanctuary states thumbing their noses at federal immigration laws while still receiving federal funds, it’s because Congress continues to fund them. The House could shut it down today. They won’t. Why? Because these cowards fear political fallout more than they fear destroying the Republic.
We are now $37 trillion in debt. Trillion. Let that sink in. That’s $282,000 per American household. And what do we get for it? Failing infrastructure, an open border, a broken immigration system, an education system crumbling under activist control, and woke policies shoved down our throats with our own money. This is the definition of insanity. We are borrowing money – from our enemies – to fund lawless states that ignore the Constitution and harbor criminals. If this were a business, it would have filed for Chapter 7 decades ago. Instead, it’s propped up by lies, lobbyists, and the ever-turning printing press of the Federal Reserve.
Congress doesn’t need more committees. It needs spines.
They claim they can’t arrest anyone – true, Congress can’t prosecute. But they can subpoena, they can cut off funding, and they can use their megaphone to speak the truth without compromise. But what do we get instead? Republicans who cry foul in front of cameras, then cave behind closed doors. Democrats who gleefully torch the Constitution, knowing their colleagues across the aisle will offer no resistance. It’s all theater. One giant, taxpayer-funded puppet show.
And the worst part? They pretend they’re powerless. “We can’t do anything,” they whine. “It’s the DOJ’s job.” What a joke. The Founders gave Congress the ultimate tool: money. And yet, year after year, they approve massive, pork-filled omnibus bills they haven’t even read. They fund agencies that target the very citizens they’re supposed to protect. They send billions overseas while Americans live paycheck to paycheck.
It’s not just fiscal irresponsibility. It’s moral treason.
The Democratic Party has long abandoned any pretense of supporting the Constitution. They treat it like an outdated relic – something to be circumvented, reinterpreted, or flat-out ignored. Sanctuary policies, illegal executive orders, weaponized federal agencies – it’s all part of a slow-motion coup against the constitutional order.
And what about the Republicans? Don’t get your hopes up. They’re not the resistance. They’re the co-conspirators. Meek. Toothless. Obsessed with polling numbers and re-election campaigns. They talk tough on Fox News, then vote to fund the very madness they claim to oppose. They’ve become the party of excuses – not solutions.
This isn’t a left vs. right issue anymore. This is a corruption vs. country issue.
The House of Representatives has the constitutional authority to say no. No to endless wars. No to illegal immigration. No to sanctuary states. No to woke indoctrination. No to funding lawlessness. But they refuse to do it. And that refusal is costing us everything – our solvency, our security, and our national soul.
So here’s the truth, raw and unfiltered: The House of Representatives is not failing because of incompetence. It is failing because of cowardice. The only thing they serve is themselves — not the Constitution, not the people, not the future.
And until we, the citizens, stand up and hold them accountable – not just in elections, but in every arena – this betrayal will continue.
It’s time to stop worshipping party labels.
It’s time to call these lawmakers what they are: traitors to the American taxpayer.
And it’s time – long past time – to take back the purse before they bankrupt the very idea of America.
