Catholic Seminarian Credits Jesus Christ for Miraculous Healing After COVID Shot Injury

A former seminarian who suffered devastating physical complications following COVID-19 vaccinations says he has been miraculously healed through the power of Jesus Christ after prayer and Holy Communion.

Julian Young, a Catholic convert once pursuing the priesthood, shared that two mRNA shots he received in 2021 led to a severe autoimmune condition called complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS), causing what he described as “a sensation of burning that feels like the body is on fire,” according to LifeSiteNews. The condition left him largely bedridden and unable to function for months.

After months of progress in a neurologic recovery program and a subsequent relapse, Young said his moment of healing came unexpectedly in September while praying. “It felt like God was speaking to me, and it felt like God was listening to my suffering,” he recalled. That night, he prayed his usual devotions and watched Venerable Fulton Sheen’s talk God Knows Your Suffering, reflecting on how Christ bore the pain of others with compassion.

“As soon as I said ‘Amen,’ I felt this deep peace come over my entire body, and I felt like something was happening,” Young said, adding that he fell asleep unsure of what had occurred.

The next morning, after receiving Holy Communion from his aunt, he said he heard “the Lord speak in the depths of my soul… I know I heard Him say, ‘Get up and walk. You are healed.’”

Obeying that inner voice, Young stood up and found his pain was completely gone. “There was no nerve pain, there was no burning, there was nothing,” he said. Overcome with gratitude, he “started crying and thanking the Lord,” kissing a relic of the True Cross that had been lent to him.

Since that moment, Young told LifeSiteNews he has been walking freely and living without pain or complications. “Glory to God. Our Lord and Holy Mother raised my body to new life in Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit!” he said.

Young continues to rebuild his strength and hopes to return to seminary soon. “I am working on regaining my muscle strength since the period of being bedridden led to significant atrophy,” he explained. “I am waiting on His Divine Providence and taking it day by day.”

For Young, the healing has reaffirmed both his faith and his vocation. His story serves as a testament to the power of prayer, the Eucharist, and the compassion of Christ for those who suffer.
